My Favourite Drawing

I really want to appreciate @mdpolasmia for creating this community and thank @ariful2 for organising this contest titled "My Favourite Drawing". Today, I draw the portrait of a British comic actor named Mr. Bean.

Mr. Bean is a fictional character portrayed by Rowan Atkinson. He was born on 6 January 1955. He always behaves and talks childishly in his comic movies, though he is a genius and well-educated. He has a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Electrical and Electronic Engineering and a Master of Science (MSc) in Electrical Engineering. He acted in so many movies one of which is "Mr Bean.
Today, I honour him through this pencil portrait drawing; below are my drawing details.

Materials For The Drawing

• Plain white embossed paper
• Pencils
• Eraser
• Blade
• Cotton wool
• Black pen

Step 1
I began by writing my name and date on the white embossed paper. After that, I sketched the head of Mr Bean. I began with his stylish hairstyle followed by his two big ears, his cheek and lastly his lower jaw.

Step 2
I drew his shoulder, after which I designed his suit. I later designed the collar of the inner shirt and concluded with the neck tie.

Step 3
I sketched the eyes, the eyelid and the eyebrow. I also adjusted the right ear.

Step 4
I sketched the nose and the mouth.

Step 5
I shaded the hair on the head of Mr. Bean using a black pen. I also shaded the wrinkles on his forehead and his ears using an HB pencil.

Step 6
I shaded the eye, the eyelids and the area around the eye.

Step 7
I shaded part of the cheek, the upper jaw and the lips using a 10B pencil, HB pencil and then blended with a cotton wool.

Step 8
I shaded the remaining part of the face and also shaded the neck of Mr. Bean.

Step 9
I shaded the suit of Mr. Bean. I began with the left side followed by the right side. Here, I used both a 10B, a 6B and an HB pencil.

Step 10
I coloured the necktie using a 10B pencil and made other adjustments to the entire drawing.

My Selfie

I chose this character because he is one of my favourite comic actors. Therefore, what you are seeing today is the portrait of "Mr. Mean.
