Training my Contestants for the Battle Stage Performance
We are in the battle stage, and we have lots of paired contestants. Training them all by myself was a hell of stress for me as the host because other trainers I wanted to pay didn't know how to start the training process for the Pakistani and Venezuelan contestants we had. Why? They came with the excuse of not knowing the language and that they converse well in videos. Subtitles??? They gave an excuse. So it was difficult for me to train all my paired and solo contestants.
The only set I didn't train was the Venezuelans because of time, but I do trust that with the little knowledge they have and the sample video I gave them of a duo, they would be able to deliver. I trust @lunasilver and her creativities. She and her son will definitely deliver even without my guide. To my two solos, they did justice too. I wonder who the judges will evict because it would be very difficult for them to do their eviction.
Let's go to the training sessions I had with these contestants. 'Done', says back. 'I dropped a video session of **Vicvine25, Whitie, Nsijoro and Bee5.' This training session was made to help them know how to start and bring that chemistry into their song.
In this post, I'll be sharing the training sessions of @sampson01, @us-andrew and @glorystar21, who couldn't meet up with me offline. So I had to train them virtually by making this video.

From the list of emotional songs I gave them, they selected Smile for Me by Simi. This is a song sung by a female Nigerian artist called Simi. Her voice is impressive, and from her lyrics, making it a duet would be easy. This is how parts were allocated, as @glorystar21, with her feminine voice, starts first. The aim of this duet is to produce a chemistry in both voices. Since it's a battle stage, they must fight to keep their voices intact while maintaining the chemistry. This was what I suggested to them.
He chose a song that is originally a duet and can only be sung by two people because of the lyrics. A backup line would be needed, and a solo singer won't be able to deliver. So I opted to sing with him, though he'll be assessed personally. Since he wasn't part of the physical training stage, I decided to allocate parts for him to work on the male part of the song while I do the feminine part of the song. This is the video I sent to him to use and train.
One thing they learnt about singing is to be creative. It adds life to the performance.

Thank you so much, my friend, for each and every one of your tips. We've really appreciated it. We hope to reach our goal.
We're already eager to learn the songs of Niger, or those of Pakistan. I love music, so I'm not afraid of it.
A big hug, boss.
Can't wait
