COMPARING VOICES
Have you ever tried this before?
Today I saw a video of a lady on TikTok singing a Yoruba song and I decided to sing it. It was hard because I was in a Yoruba language
I did a recording of my self singing a wonderful Yoruba song title “Jesu, Orúkọ Balẹ Niṣe.” In English, it means “Jesus, What a Peaceful Name.”When I was done doing the video, I listened to my self and pause a bit going back to the version of that professional singer I admire. I sat back listening both mine and her singing the same voice of the songs.

The song is a great song because it's lyrics alone describe the name of the creator Jesus as a place of peace, a source of rest. Each time I refer back to the song it reminds me that I am a alone, that I have a Jesus.
My goal was to compare if I could sing how she sang the song. At first it a bit hard. To be sincere I used almost two hours to finish practicing the song. I tried several times, but I didn't even know how to pronounce the lyrics of the song. I also almost gave up. But I said to my self You can do it, I got motivated at that point, I put in all my very best to do I kept pushing on and before you know it I was . When I finished singing the song and the video, I was so surprised. I was carried away by everything.

The name of Jesus is peace, joy, and life.
