RE: Botanical Garden Tours - #026 : Nephentes x Mixta - The Monkey Cup

in Amazing Nature5 years ago

Hey there @joanstewart ^^ thanks for stopping by ;) .. Actually this "x mixta" variant is quite easy to keep in the garden. South Africa also has suitable temperatures! If you manage to find a place around your house that is not exposed to the sun to much and water it regularly it may be suitable for you ^^

Sort:

They would grow very well in the many damp shaded areas in our garden, although we have turned to water-wise gardening.

Hehe, maybe for for some beautiful Pitcher Plant you can spare a bit of water ? .. Unfortunately you would need to water them quite often ;( .. But I can already spoiler you a little bit. The next entry to the tours is a beautiful flower from South Africa. Maybe this one is suited better for you, hehe ^^

The most unusual plant I had in the garden for a period of 3 years sadly died off.

Flower most definitely smelled of rotting meat, I never witnessed it capture flies unfortunately.

Look forward to seeing your next entry.

I think it is something that is known to you ^^ and this one may be definitely a beautiful addition to your garden this time, hehe ;)
