See is an amazing TV series, with a unique and interesting storyline. It's in the future, where most of the humans are being killed by a virus, and the remaining have lost their sight. There are some tales about the ability to see, but they are just like myths. So, how will they cope with the lifestyle? Well, don't think too much logically in some scenes, just enjoy the beautiful story and the concept.

It was created by Steven Knight and aired for three seasons from 2019-2022.

The show has received 7.6/10 from 107K ratings on IMDB. As you can see in the image below, all the episodes have received 7+ reviews, especially in the opening season was spectacular. Jason Momoa shared an outstanding performance along with the rest of the crew in this new challenge, and the intense battles and unique setup make it interesting as well.

As I mentioned earlier, it was a few centuries later since people lost their sight. They have already been accustomed to the new reality; to survive, hunt, fight, and live. Even though the past knowledge and technology have almost vanished, there were still some haunting moments of them.

In the series, there are two rival kingdoms, named Payan (capital city: Kanzua) and the Trivantian Republic (capital city: Trivantes). Baba Voss is the tribal leader of Alkenny, who lives in the mountains.

Season 01

The season started with Maghra, the wife of Baba, giving birth to twins. The kids aren't Baba's, as she was pregnant when she came to the tribe. Surprisingly, the twins have the gift of sight, fathered by a sighted man, Jerlamarel.

Meanwhile, Queen Kane of Kanzua is on a mission to kill Jerlamarel and the sighted people, with her army under Tamacti Jun, General of the Witchfinder army. They burned cities, killed people. So, in the first few episodes, we see intense battles, the rudeness of the witchfinders, sacrifices, and heroics of Baba Voss protecting his family and the people.

With time, twins secretly started to gain knowledge and became curious about more. Later turned out that Maghra as the queen Kan's sister and chosen heir to the throne. Eventually, twins found Jeramlal in a comfortable place with technology and his other children. But eventually turned out that he is evil, and he gave Haniva to the Colonel from the Trivantian tribe.

Season 02

Trivantes turned out to be Baba's former home, and his brother Edo was the general there. These two hated one another. After rescuing Kofun from Jermalal, Baba secretly went there to rescue Haniva. Anyway, with captivity, torture, and fights, they were successful. Haniwa got to another sighted woman there, a member of Edo's army, and fell in love with her.

Meanwhile, Princess Maghra and Queen Kane ruled together based on Pennsa, as she destabilized the dam and destroyed Kanzua. She blamed it on TrivantianS and deliberately tried to wage a war with them. Margha, kids, and Baba finally go together as a family, under new conditions as royals. Anyway, they were in the midst of a war.

Tamacti found out that the queen Kane destroyed the city, and with the help of his witchfiner's army, and Lord Harland, she was overthrown, and Margha was crowned as the queen. In the end, we saw an intense battle between the two parties, and a combat between the two brothers.

Season 03

Without being a royal, Baba went to the mountains and started to live there. But a Trivantian scientist developed a deadliest new weapon of bombs, with the help of Jerlamarel's son. Meanwhile, tension occurred in Pennsa against sighted kids, ex-witchfiners started a coup against the queen as well.

The scientist Tormada showed his new weapon to The Triangle in Trivantes and made plans to destroy the Payan kingdom. Baba warned the queen, and a group went to destroy them. Anyway, their attempts failed several times, with many losses along the way, and we saw the final battle between the two teams.

Baba heroically sacrificed his life to protect his family and people.

So, after all, it is a good one to watch. Give it a try.
