Hollywood movies had been more realistic in actions. It can be either physical fights or gun fights, Hollywood is ahead from practicality. Let's not talk about Bollywood but I have to mention Chinese movies. I mean their action sequences are exaggerated using camera movements and it requires a lot of bullets to send a soul to hell. I mean it's so much like Bollywood but feels good. I got that kind of an experience in this Netflix Original movie and I'm not gonna lie, it exceeded my expectations.

Havoc is the newest action thriller in Netflix's library, and Tom Hardy plays the main role here. From the outside, he doesn't look like that agile guy, but this movie pulls a lot of tricks on him. Usually, Netflix movies get a harsh reception from reviewers, but this movie gained somewhat recognition and held the No. 1 spot on Netflix for a few days.

Patrick Walker (Hardy) is a narcotic detective and he and his friends Vincent, Hayes, Jake and Cortez haven't always been lawful. Those actions had cost his family and recognition in his line of duty as a servant of politicians. The action starts with narcotic agents chasing a container filled with cocaine. The operation ends badly with badly injuring an officer at the chase. Drug dealers escape with the lot and things get interesting afterwards..

Charlie and Mia are two drug dealers from the job, carried the supply to meet an agent in Chinese Cartel to seal the deal. This Charlie is the son of wanna be Mayor, Lawrence Beaumont and Charlie Walker had done deals with him.

While the transaction takes place, a gang of masked gunners came roaring with automatic guns killing almost all of the cartel but as Mia received a tip off from her friend, both Mia and Charlie was able to save their lives. But the Chinese Cartel think this killing is their doing and that makes things complicated.

In one hand, a mother is trying to take revenge of murdering her son. And some friends tries to give justice to the injured colleague. On the other hand, there's Patrick Walker who is trying to find the real solution of this mess despite of double games lying beneath the story.

So.. will they all get their revenges? Will the whole truth come out? It's up to you to find out.

As I mentioned earlier, this movie is a mix of Hollywood and Chinese DNA so you can expect an Action rollercoaster and you'll get it. But the sheer amount of bullets takes to send a man to hell is uncountable. The protagonist won't get hit that easily until his main villain arrives. That's why this called Cinema, right?

Havoc is a mixture of Hollywood and Chinese DNA, and I think it is a great mixture. There are particular guys who love these types of action and gun-fight-filled movies. They'll love this. But that doesn't mean that this movie is shallow. It has depths, and that's why this movie is a great watch.
