When we go through different phases in life, we come across different type of people and some people bond with us and become friends. As the phases pass by new friends come and only some of old ones hang tight. When we get into late 20s, friends start to get married. Then those friendships turn into different paths. And after that, it's hard to stick with each other. But the group of friends in this story had stuck together even after marriage.
The Four Seasons is the newest Comedy Romance drama series added to the Netflix Library. The 1st season of the series consists of 8 episodes. There are seven main characters, which belongs to 3 couples. Yeah yeah.. I know. What's the extra one for? You'll get to know.
Nick-Anne, Kate-Jack, Danny-Claude are three couples who had been friends since the college days. And now, they are married. Their children are teenagers. So they are free from their burden. But still, the bond between these friends are unbreakable. So they spend a holiday once every season in a premise where one of the couples are arranged.
The story starts with the summer. It's time for Nick and Anne to arrange the procedures. So they've chose their lake house to spend the holiday. Everything seemed fine. The friends were glad to meet each other again. But not one.
It's Nick. It's not about other friends. It's about Anne. Anne's behavior had been irritating Nick since a long time. So Nick had been planning to divorce her which can be a big blow for the friendship circle. Since he shared this message with others, it's been tense around the friends.
On the other side, Anne had understood that she's not providing enough energy to the marriage. So she had arranged a function to renew the vows and make things right. But things won't go as she plans. So what will happen to friendship and holidays??
The series is happening all the time as the diversity between the characters and even between husbands and wives. Also, 2 episodes are allocated per season - spring, summer, autumn and winter. So the environment the action takes place shifts and the unique atmospheres soothes the mind. When the atmosphere mixes with silly behaviours of these adults make a highly enjoyable series.
The Four Seasons is a calming experience for me. It's great to have friendship that last through several phases. Maybe this could be my friends in future. Oh God.. No... I don't want them to have this kind of an experience.. But it worth watching.
