Amazon Studios has been busy with crime thriller series these days. I mean, they've been releasing, like, at least one new series on a weekly basis. The color profiles used in Amazon TV series are addictive. I like that blueish tint in it. And the plot is good too. So, in this week, Amazon Studios came with a bang, and it has a Korean touch in it.

"Butterfly" is a #spy #thriller #series that was released on 13th August. It's based on a graphic novel series, so a few more seasons can be expected. Not like their premium content, like most new series released by Amazon, it's available for binge-watching. And it's just 6 episodes. Daniel Dae Kim, Reina Hardesty, Louis Landau, and Piper Perabo play the main roles here.

Rebecca, an assassin who works for Caddis, a private intelligence service, is on a mission to kill the Russian ambassador to South Korea. The mission was a success, but it was bit hard to escape the location. In the interim, Rebecca's technical guy was found by David Jung, who is an unknown investigator. He doesn't try to kill people. He just wants the information required.

David hijacked the vehicle of the extraction team and went to the extraction location, thinking she won't notice anything fishy. But eventually she noticed, fired at the car, and escaped. There's something going on with David. David doesn't want Rebecca dead. He wants to know her.

So David wiped clean the vehicle and made it look like it was robbed. Also, he placed coordinates for a location so Rebecca would find out, and she did. She went there with another assassin, Edward. Since David doesn't want company, he attacked Edward first so he can deal with Rebecca alone.

So what's going on with Rebecca and David? Are they relatives? Will Rebecca kill David before anything happens? It's up to you to find out..
