This is a nice proposal....
I believe steemit will take this into consideration esp the mobile app. It's annoying, whenever you want to visit steemit you need to go look for your browser and start searching for steemit.

And I also agree with you that it will be nice if they build an app so that we can easily get notifications and also ease the stress of searching for steemit.
