Happy one-week anniversary to my uncle and his lovely wife🤗. The day they tied the knot was truly unforgettable, and I'm thrilled to celebrate this milestone with them. The picture above captures the joy and love they share.

We all travelled to the wedding celebration in Nsit-Ubium Local Government Area on September 6, 2025. It was an extraordinary event, distinguished by an abundance of delectable foods and a wide array of beverages.

My uncle's commitment to tradition led him to opt for a traditional marriage ceremony. As one of the groomsmen, I was privileged to wear our cultural attire for the third time in my life, which consisted of a wrapper, a white chieftaincy top, a staff, a cap, and black shoes. There were about 11 of us, all dressed alike, adding to the splendor of the occasion.

We were all looking handsome that day, same as my uncle who was the groom. The wife and the bridesmaids were looking beautiful too. Had it been I'm ready for marriage I would have picked one, hahaha, I laugh😁

As tradition dictates, the groom was formally presented to the gathering after a sumptuous feast, accompanied by us groomsmen. Subsequently, the bride emerged, escorted by her bridesmaids, and joyfully took her place beside her husband. The Master of Ceremonies' witty remarks, cake cutting, and ring exchange drew in the official declaration of their union as husband and wife.

My uncle has officially joined the married club. I'm next in line, and I'm excited for my own wedding preparations soon. Huge congratulations to him again.
