Today’s Gameplay 🎮| STEEM Memory game

Today I came back to the Memory game in Steemit once more, with new strength and vigor. I wanted to show myself that I could do more than yesterday after a performance that was rather dismal.

I took the game in the state of calm and made my mind to avoid hustling but to pay more attention when placing cards.

Right at the beginning everything was easier than yesterday. I felt that my memory was sharper, and not that I was blindly turning cards over as previously.

One could feel that every match was under control, and I could also quickly get rid of all the mistakes without panicking. Still, the niceness and minimalism of the interface made the experience pleasant enough- it is refreshing to play something that is both so interesting and so simple.

I found I was maintaining a good pace as the timer clicked. I was not as quick as some players in the leaderboard but at least I wasn’t wasting any moves as the previous day.

Gradually, all those textbook matches were accumulating and before I knew it I was finishing the game. The end outcomes made me have a smile:

This was definitely better than yesterday’s struggle, and I could see real improvement in both timing and moves. It may not be a record-breaking score, but it gave me confidence that I am learning the patterns and sharpening my memory with every attempt.

My Thoughts 💭

Today’s gameplay was proof that patience and focus make a huge difference. My score of 1356 wasn’t the highest, but it felt like a personal victory after yesterday’s poor result. The other 36 moves with 10 match perfect statistics indicated that I was now getting to grips with it.

This game is so special in its own ways--it is fun, frustrating and more rewarding all at the same same time. I learn a new lesson about myself every round with regards to my focus and memory capabilities.

I am glad with my result today but I am also encouraged to do even better scores in the next few days. And what about the next day, who knows I might even top my own self with an even better score! Who knows 😻
