"Life changing moment @ashley-p"

Hello dear steemians, greetings from my end to you all, special thanks to @drhira for organizing this beautiful contest.

In there is always time and moment in our lives that might caused us pain and joy, but the question we need to ask ourselves is that, in all you've been through and all the moment shared with loved ones, is it life changing moment????.

Now my story start .....(THE PROCESS)

This was me some time back when I was encouraged to contest to be a maiden and queen representing the whole of my nation. I was stuck with fear and stage fright, wondering how I was going to stand in front of thousands of people watching me perform on stage, and all eyes will be on me, I will be smiling and looking at the audience smiling in order to carry them along. I say to myself and was encouraged to do it because I am a strong woman, outfits to be used for the contest:

✓Dinner gown
✓Cultural Display
✓career Wear
✓Cultural Atire

This happened to be my first outfit beautifully and gorgeously appeared on stage, showcasing my talent in me.

MY SECOND OUTFIT (Cultural Display)

Soo this is how it works, you're permitted to display like a typical cultural girl behaving like our four fathers do, and this is me using the grinding stone to grind my maize or corn to be used as corn flour and any other thing to be used as food, this is what was used as their local grinding machine, not like now that technology has mad some of us extremely lazy. I was only trying to behave and act like an old local mother striving to make food for her family by all means.

MY THIRD OUTFIT (Career Wear)

As we all know I'm a nurse, Soo I'm supposed to demonstrate exactly like how we do at the hospital when there's an emergency, this is me well dressed coming to perform my Life saving duties, though the instrument were not complete but I just had to manage the one available for use.

LAST OUTFIT (Cultural Atire)

This is my cultural attire, it's mostly used when a lady is doing her traditional marriage it mostly used in order to complete the marriage rights and obligations, Soo this is to show that I am a full cultural girl, born and raised in the land by showcasing my cultural attire.

THE LIFE CHANGING MOMENT HERE'S:

With all these struggles and performance, it's really thought me to patient and have courage on myself by challenging every moment and believing yourself to do better without compromise. Just This one trial alone, made me fearless and bold enough to stand anywhere, face different kinds of people, talking boldly without fear and stage fright anymore. This moment alone was a life changer for me, because I'm doing better than I used to be.
