This time on the last Bada Mangal of Jeth, a huge Bhandara has been organized in our area in which a lot of prasad will be distributed. My father is also among the members of the Bhandara Committee, so this time the Bhandara Committee has asked all of us children to cooperate in the Bhandara, so this time all of us children will go to distribute the prasad in the Bhandara and distribute the prasad. One night before the Bhandara, everyone got involved in the preparation of the Bhandara. The confectioner had also come one night before and was busy preparing all the ingredients for the distribution of the prasad. On Tuesday morning, I woke up early and after taking a bath, went to the temple to have darshan of God and from there I went straight to the Bhandara venue. On reaching there, I saw that all the preparations were complete, tents and pandals had been set up and the confectioners had prepared all the prasad and kept it in large vessels for distribution of the prasad.
We also reached the pandal quickly and sat at the prasad distribution counter. Then one by one all the prasads were brought and kept at our counter. After that, after offering bhog to God, the program of prasad distribution started. First of all, boondi and sherbet prasad distribution started. A huge crowd gathered and the distribution of prasad had started and people had started taking prasad. Gradually, the crowd was increasing and it was getting difficult to control the people. People were pushing our counter due to which we had to face a lot of difficulties in distributing prasad.
After the distribution of boondi and sherbet for about 2 hours, puri and vegetable prasad started and after that distribution of puri and vegetable started. Seeing the puri and vegetable, a queue of devotees started. People tasted the boondi and prasad with great enthusiasm and a huge crowd gathered of people eating the boondi and puri vegetable prasad.
The distribution of puri and vegetables continued for about 4 hours. A huge crowd of people gathered to eat the prasad of boondi and puri sabzi. After that cold drinks started being distributed. There was a huge crowd of devotees taking cold drinks as well. People were enjoying and eating all the kinds of prasad that were being distributed.
I was having a lot of fun in distributing the prasad. Whenever I got time in between, I also used to eat a little prasad. The prasad was very tasty. There was a huge crowd of devotees taking the prasad of cold drinks. After cold drinks, buttermilk started being distributed. And at the end, when the distribution of ice cream started, people of all ages and children stood in a huge crowd on seeing the ice cream. It was becoming very difficult to control the crowd. Then all the senior people of the committee came and stood and started distributing the ice cream prasad.
By the time the entire Bhandara program was over, it was around 7:00 in the evening and I was completely exhausted. Now I did not feel like staying there at all. I just wanted to go home quickly, wash my hands and feet and go to sleep because I had become very dirty while distributing the Prasad. But on Papa's insistence, we stayed for half an hour more and finished all the work and kept it aside. After that, we came straight home.
After reaching home, the first thing I did was to take a bath and freshen up and went straight to my room and slept because I was very tired and was feeling very sleepy, but I had a lot of fun this time by going to the Bhandara and distributing Prasad there.
