The Diary Game: Celebrating My Wife's Birthday In Church And Other Tales(07-09-2025)

Hello all, how are you? I am @bendelta28 and here's my Sunday's diary. It's my wife's birthday today and when I woke up, I first sang a birthday song for her and wished so many beautiful things. We got prepared for church, there's no way I'll miss service today being the first Sunday of the month of September. Since we were already getting late, we couldn't wait and have breakfast.

I got to church late, they had finished opening prayer, praise and worship session and intermediate choir had sang when I arrived the church. I walked in quietly with my wife and sat down close to each other, testimonies were shared, sermon time, main choir and offering were the programs I met. Before service was brought to an end, the celebrant in the house were called up and my wife was among those who went out to be prayed for. I surprised her with a cake when she was about going to the pulpit.

They were given give minutes to say something to the congregation or either sing it they chose to, my wife has always wanted an opportunity where she'll share all the goodness of God she has been enjoying and she took her moment very serious. She even exceeded the five minutes she was given but I still thank God that she was able to say all she had planned to without fears. They were prayed for and closing prayer was taken by the pastor and church dismissed. I went home after a brief meeting in church and little photo session.

In the evening after waking up from sleep, my wife and I sat outside gisting and she remembered her birthday cake and rushed inside to bring it so we could eat. I didn't taste the cake in church so I didn't know if it was good or not but tasting it that evening made me realize how good the vendor is at her work. We didn't go to the shop today, I wanted to spend time with my wife since it was her birthday. Thank you all for reading, until next time.
