The Diary Game: Home Lesson, Work at the Shop, and Other Engagements 01/10/2025

Hello, greetings to everyone and happy new month to my fellow steemians.

The morning was a very special day, as the federal government of Nigeria declared it a public holiday in respect to the country's Independence Day celebration. There was no school or public sector, and some private sectors were observing the day.

So when I woke up from bed, I did my morning devotion, praying to God for sustaining me and my family throughout the month of September and taking us to October, and also my country, Nigeria, as we celebrate its 65th birthday, so I didn't go to work in the morning but did a lot of activities at home.

One of the activities was teaching my son how to do his homework and also his ability to learn alone.
So it was a funny moment, as I used the whole morning period to teach him a lesson.
My son was giving me a surprise moment as he was able to write 1-10 in numbers after 4 hours of learning after handing over the learning materials to him to write.

The afternoon I was at the shop trying to work and deliver one of the major dresses that I have been handling for two weeks now.
So I prepared lunch first before leaving for the shop. I cooked rice and pepper soup with chicken.
After eating lunch, I moved to the shop. At the shop, I started working from where my apprentice stopped. The work challenge was the machine legs; that is, the pedals were not turning normally, so I was oiling the machine.
I had a good result, and I continued working.
By 5 pm, I was through with everything, and I called the owner of the cloth and dropped her clothes off at where she said I should keep them before going.

Coming back to the house in the evening, I was so tired, and my son was disturbing me, so I gave him to my neighbor while continuing my dinner preparation. It is not easy for women, as everything about the kitchen is on our shoulders, so by 7:45pm I prepared garri before the soup. After doing everything, I took my bath and saved myself a plate of dinner, but before I ate, I went and took my son from the neighbor's house and bathed him before we ate, and later we went to bed by 10:45pm.

To summarize the diary game, all theactivities were running smoothly; I taught my son how to write and do homework. It was really a great day, coupled with the Independence Day Celebration of my country.
