Greetings to all steemians on this platform. It interests me to know that we have been making progressive growth in our singing contests these few months. The melodious voices we've had lately need to be taken to the next level. In my last contest post, I stated that we'll be starting our first singing competition on Steem next month and this would require work from our singers since it's more of a competition to get to the top.

Before giving a brief highlight on the contest in question, I'll love to announce the winners for last contest. We had 4 good entries and these 4 participants nailed it. 2 from Nigeria and 2 from Pakistan. Going through their videos helped me deduce who nailed it best. Singing isn't just about the voice. It's about how well we can sing this song and express the emotions there in. Judging from the 5 known criterias, these are our winners for last week.

Week 9

This week, we'll be sharing this flyer to different communities. Let them know we want to host a big competition they can be a big part of. The singing competition on Steemit will commence on the 1st of July, starting with the audition phase and I need a lot of Steemians to be part of this audition. So all participants are to promote this by singing a chorus of any song......Just the chorus and not the full song. E.g

Clues to the singing competition on Steemit that can guide you when promoting it.

You don't have to be a professional in singing as you can learn from the judges who'll coach you to be a professional.
In the audition stage, you'll have to upload a video of you singing one of your best songs with a unique voice.
All entries would be accepted for the judges stage where qualified singers would be given golden tickets as an achievement.
Your voice shouldn't be the sweetest for you to win. Someone who doesn't have a very sweet and nice voice can win this challenge. There's a difference between Singing to impress and singing to well.
You can sing in any song and in any language you want to. Singing isn't just about the song or language used. It's more about the expression in the song, the pitch, tone, liveness, agility, vocal quality and ability to express emotions in the song.

This competition would last for 3-4 months

Rewards for the winners after the main competition would be stated during the auditioning period next month. It's possible that 500-1000 steems can be slated for this purpose

Aim

The aim of this singing audition is for us to display our talents as most Steemians don't know they are talented enough when it comes to singing. We also aim at helping those who doesn't have the nicest of voice to sing well and perfectly.

So don't be scared that you may be laughed at with the nature of your voice. Judges and coaches would be there to help you improve and do better with your normal voice. Let's sing on Steemit as songs are gaining popularity now. This is another avenue of promoting Steemit to the novice. What are you to do? Read the rules carefully
