Natural Park Takengon is a haven for rabbits

Natural Park

I will try to review a little about a tourist spot filled with rabbits in the city of Takengon, the place is called Natural Park. Natural Park is a new tourist spot in Takengon city. Natural Park presents a natural feel where in the form of a zoo, children's playground and cafe. The most common animal in Natural Park is the rabbit. This rabbit farm is almost half the area of Natural Park. Visitors will be very happy, especially children - children see cute animals from a fairly close distance. The distance between Takengon city and Natural Park is only 10 minutes. Natural Park is open from 08.30 am, closed at 18.00 pm.

Ticket Counter

Before entering the Natural Park, you must first purchase a ticket. Tickets are purchased at the counter provided right next to the entrance guard. The counter officer consists of two people. The entrance ticket price for one person is Rp. 15000 (6.22 Steem). There is a special rule for children where if the child is under 95 cm tall, it is free to enter. While children who have a height above 95 cm must pay a ticket like an adult.

At the entrance there are already several officers in charge of directing visitors to enter from the direction of the road, checking tickets to arriving inside the Natural Park. There are also several information boards explaining that children must be under parental supervision.

There are some gardens filled with very small chickens and large chickens. The small chickens are called serama chickens. They are smaller than native chickens. The big chicken is called a turkey. The turkey chickens here are tame, not wild anymore. It is too dangerous for wild turkey chickens to be in this place because there are so many small children playing in the Natural Park.

The most special part of the Natural Park is the rabbits. Rabbits in Natural Park are of various types with a large number and a variety of unique rabbit colors. All visitors can see the rabbits firsthand, how they move, sleep and eat. The rabbit quarters are also arranged differently from other animal quarters. The garden for small rabbits is separated from the adult rabbit garden. In the rabbit garden there are large stones, wood and leaves.

Pathways

Between the two rabbit gardens, there is a pathway for visitors to pass by. The path is made with rectangular floors. Each floor is about 10 cm apart from the other floors. This pathway also makes it convenient for visitors to see the rabbit garden, especially in rainy times so as not to dirty the sandals and shoes used.

The fish pond is large and in the center of the pond there is a lotus leaf that accompanies the fish. The fish in the pond are goldfish and there are a lot of them. These goldfish are also an attraction for children because if you throw fish food, the fish will gather a lot. Fish bait is also sold near the pond.

Natural Park also provides children's play facilities. Parents no longer need to be confused about finding a place to play because the children's toys available here are very complete. Starting from swings, slides, cycling, tunnels, jumping and so on.

The child plays while accompanied by his mother, while I monitor from a distance so as not to be nudged by others. There were a lot of visitors during the long holiday. For bicycle play, a large arena is provided. The arena consists of an asphalted road track with gravel around it. There are also trees in the arena to provide coolness for children playing bicycles.

A notice board is placed at the front when entering the children's playground. The children's playground has an artificial turf floor so visitors who enter must take off their sandals and shoes, men are prohibited from smoking and bringing food and drinks because they will pollute the children's playground.

In addition to serving rabbits and other animals and children's games, this tourist spot also has a cafe where you can relax. This cafe provides fresh food and drinks. All food and drinks come from local products such as coffee.

The cafe seating has two parts, the inside and the outside. The inside of the benches and tables are made of large lacquered wood. While the outside of the cafe the chairs and tables are made of iron. Each table has four chairs. There is no roof covering the sky, only the surrounding trees.

Mushalla and toilet

Other facilities available at Natural Park are prayer rooms and toilets. These two places should always be available at tourist attractions because if at any time you want to defecate and urinate there is already a place. If it is prayer time, you can also immediately worship without having to leave or delay first.

Parking Area

The vehicle parking area at Natural Park is very large. This parking area is mountainous land that has been leveled because the floor is still clay. This parking area includes two-wheeled vehicles, four and so on. Two-wheeled vehicle parking costs Rp. 5000 (2.07 Steem) and four-wheeled Rp. 10000 (4.13 Steem). Visitors can freely enter and exit this parking area and at the gate there are three officers guarding it.
