LOVE IS BLIND (EPISODE 1)
[edited with inshot application]
Richard, a young man, found himself in a tough situation when his father did not show up. It all started with a small, impulsive lie he told after just joining a new school.
“Baby, I’ll get you the iPhone 16. Just give me two weeks.” Those few words set off a series of events that would change his life forever.
Precious was incredibly beautiful—far too alluring for someone like Richard. With her long lashes, captivating shape, and confidence fueled by ambition, she drew everyone's attention.
After months of pursuing her, she finally agreed to date Richard, but only with conditions. He was required to dress well, wear costly colognes, and, most importantly, maintain her social media image. She insisted on regular photos, outings, gifts, and now, the latest iPhone.
“I can’t keep using this old model,” she declared, tossing her iPhone 14 onto the bed in frustration. “Oluchi has the 16, and she's not even that pretty. What are you good for if you can’t provide for me?”
That night, Richard couldn't sleep. His low-paying job at the printing shop barely supported him, and now the woman he loved was threatening to leave him over a phone. He tried to reason with her, but she was already ready to leave.
Then, his friend Daniel called.
“Hey, I know some wealthy people who will pay a lot if you bring someone.” Richard's heart raced as he understood Daniel's implication—it wasn’t about just anyone; it was a disturbing trade—blood for money.
Initially, Richard laughed off the idea. But as the days passed, the pressure mounted. He pleaded with Precious for more time. “Just wait a little longer, please,” he begged.
She stared him down and said, “I won’t be with someone who can't provide. Don’t reach out until you have that phone.”
With that, she blocked him.
Richard was devastated.
He watched his mother in their small kitchen, making ogbono soup. She was the one who raised him after his father passed, taking out loans to support his education. She had once said, “If I ever become a burden to you, end my life, so I don’t suffer in vain.”
He hadn’t meant to remember those words, but they rushed back to him.
He told her he had found a job in another city with a reputable company paying well. Tears of joy filled her eyes as she packed his bag with food and blessed him during their farewell.
When they reached the shrine in the forest and the priest asked, “Are you sure?” Richard answered affirmatively.
No second thoughts.
No tears.
As they bound his hands, he pleaded, watching the woman who had once sheltered him now cry for her own life.
But all that filled his mind was Precious—her figure, her smile, her laughter.
When the priest inquired again, “Are you ready?” he whispered, “Yes. Go ahead.”
The knife drove in.
Blood stained the ground.

Good Day
It's unfortunate that am just seeing this kind review today, But before I justify myself, please I thought that steemit has a machine use for checking were picture is being gotten from.
So I took time as a professional graphic designer to design this my cover picture and it was designed and edited by me, with inshot application, I even made it clear under that picture were I wrote [edited with inshot application], so I downloaded those images on Google and I then traced it (background eraser) before I used it to design this flex.
Or is it an offence for someone to design a picture were necessary for his or her post.
And again, in the review, my burnsteem25 was marked bad 😔, while, in this case I didn't check well, due I burned steem52 for null.
So please, I felt so so bad and bullied, when I saw this review that I plagiarized my picture, no it wasn't so I am the one that edited it, so please, I will be pleased to receive a feedback from this wonderful and amazing community.
Thanks

Ohkay. I really appreciate the time you took to react to the review. Your concerns for a clear review is noted and understood but let me break things down for you.
Yes, steemit has a tool used to check this but from my review, I never said you copied the thumbnail from someone. You're a graphic designer — perfect. The bone of contention here is; are the pictures in the thumbnail design you made yours? Where are they gotten from? Is it some sort of movie you got it from or from a content which you edited using Inshot? I can take pictures of Prince Zuko, katara, avatar and Bumi and create in a thumbnail.. It's designed by me right? But where did I get the individual pictures from?
If you had stated under the picture....I edited this thumbnail with pictures from so so and so. This would have been understood and it's actually yours because you've stated where the individual pictures you used are gotten from.
It's now you're saying the picture is gotten from Google and you edited it. Carrying a picture that isn't free and then editing it is just editing Ai contents to human. You given me the reply I wanted and you've just told me where you got the original pictures from. Write what you've just said under the thumbnail and I'll review your post.
Sorry if I had bullied you with words. It's part of the learning process. We learn everyday. I think you've learnt something now.
If you use pictures gotten externally but then designed it, tell us where you got the individual pictures from. Anyone can design an istock photo which isn't a free picture.
Hope this is noted. And for the #burnsteem25, I'll correct it though you set 52% by Thanks you for voicing out.
Oooh am so sorry that am just replying now, it may sound somehow but I won't fail to do so.
Thanks @steemkidss for your wonderful reply, am now satisfied and now i have peace of mind because i i free my self by expressing my feeling.
Never the less that why i continue to boost of steemkids my best community ever in steemit.
