My Entry for The Voice of Steemit [25] Blind audition Stage

Hi steemians😊
My name is Aniekeme Monday Emacha and many people know me as deportal. When I first saw this contest, I was happy 😊 but then something held me back. It's because it's been long a train my voice but to God be the glory that I am part of this competition today. One thing that defines the family I come from is music 🎶 especially acapella.
We never stop singing not as per competition but it defines us.

It may not be the sweetest song on earth but I bet you it may send the greatest and deepest message on earth 🌎

The title of the song is- YOU NEVER MENTIONED HIM TO ME
This song could be found in the songs of the church hymns. Hymn number 663.

I did already explained in details in the video why I had to choose this song. But let me say it briefly again..

The song contains and sends a very deep message probably the greatest message a song could ever send to the dwellers of this earth, "you never mentioned him to me". Think of yourself as one that finally made it to heaven. Then on the last day, your neighbour, maybe your colleague in school or at work place is watching you entering heaven and points hand towards you saying.."you never mentioned him to me", that would be so sad 😭

Sometimes this person could be someone that you imagined that probably, if you tell him/her about Christ, he/she won't listen. But don't judge a book by it's cover. Do your part and ensure your conscience is free. Mention Christ to them and let God do the rest!

Just like I did say that what defines the family I belong is music, music is what I cannot do without. Sometimes I sing without knowing because it's a gene. You can't deny something that defines you. Something that is in your DNA. Not because I am perfect with it, but because I can't do without it.

The simple reason why I had to join is because music 🎵 🎶 is my genetic makeup.

I tried as much as I could to deny joining this contest but here I am today.. being a part of this great contest. Thanks to the organisers!

As concerning my view about it, I would say the organisers should keep up the good work.
It's really a good way to encourage those who love singing and those who want to learn how to sing.

Because of contests like this, people like me will go back to voice drilling again 😂

I'm naturally adapted to deep voice so that I could send deep message 🤣

I don't think I have any suggestions for improvement for now because this is my first time participating. Maybe after this very competition, there will be suggestions for improvement if any need be.

Oh! Wait!
Something came to my mind.
I think I have one suggestion.
In the future let's see how to welcome more than one voice, maybe two or three persons singing for the sake of those that don't naturally have a lead voice. My voice is deep and I sing bass. Though I sing tenor as well and sometimes alto. But naturally I think I'm more inclined to singing bass. Some future considerations has to be made to raise the contest to the next level.

I don't also think I have much questions to ask now. Because before now, some questions and concerns that I had was clarified by one of my friends, a fellow steemian.

But I think I still have just one question.

It's true that at the end we will be having three winners 🏆

The prize 🏆 for the overall winner was named.
What will be the prize 🏆 for the other two persons?
