Importance of POWER-UP

- Steem Power up.
Powering up on the Steemit platform is changing Steem cryptocurrency into Steem Power.
To power up your Steem Power (SP), follow these steps:
First:
I opened my steem wallet, and this is the amount (23.084) steem that i have before Powering up.
To proceed, I need to click on the drop-down button next to my steem. You can see what I mean in the picture I uploaded.
Second step.
After you click on the drop-down button, you should see the options available. Then, you click on POWER-UP.
Third step.
Convert To Steem Power is about converting your steem to steem power. You need to enter the amount of steem you want to convert. For example, in the image, there is 23.084 steem being converted. After entering the amount, click the POWER-UP button.
Fourth step.
To confirm the transfer to vesting, look you see, "Confirm Transfer To Vesting." Once you see this, click on the OK button.
Last step
To complete the transfer, you need to use your active key or owner key. After entering this key, click the Sign button. Your Steem will then be converted, and the amount will be added to your Steem Power.
