Assalamu Alaikum..!!
My Dear Friends,
I am @jannatakter24 from #Bangladesh 🇧🇩
Hello my dear Steemit friends. First of all, take my love and best regards. How are you all? Hope you all will be happy and well . Alhamdulillah I am also well by the grace of Allah. Welcome to my new post. I am back with a new post again.I hope everyone will like my new post.Today I am here to participate in "One picture, a thousand stories-Wk17".First of all, I would like to thanks @fortwis09 for organizing such a beautiful competition. I am very happy to participate in this competition. Now, I will share it with you. So friends, let's start.

A story is created from every person's life. And pictures hold the stories as memories. Behind every picture there are thousands of stories and thousands of memories. When a photographer takes a picture, there are many stories hidden behind that picture, many of us try to know these stories, and again many of us laugh them off as just pictures. And I say, what is the point of taking these unnecessary pictures? What is there in the pictures? Then the photographer says that there are many stories behind every picture.
Just like the picture you see above, there are many stories behind this picture. Many of us are not interested in listening to the stories of such hawker uncles. One day I was going to this fair. When I walked past this hawker uncle, the uncle handed a balloon to the little boy who was with me and told me to give this balloon to him, then his crying will stop. The boy who was with me was also crying a lot at that time. As soon as he gave the balloon to him, the crying stopped.
When I paid the price of the balloon to my uncle and asked him if he was still working at this old age, he replied, "What will I eat if my mother doesn't work?" I asked him why he doesn't have a son or a daughter. Then my uncle said that he has two daughters and got them married. They are now living in his in-laws' house. Then I said, "Oh, he has to suffer so much in his old age because he doesn't have a son."
Actually, our society is like this. If a girl is born, doesn't she have the right to take responsibility for her parents? If our society were more dependent on children rather than boys, then maybe parents wouldn't have to suffer so much in their old age. It seems that in our society, it is written that if a boy is able to take responsibility for his parents, not if it is a girl. If a girl is married, she will take responsibility for her in-laws' house.
In fact, I think we still live in an illiterate society. While the world is moving forward in the modern era of information technology, the mentality of the people of our society is still stuck in that ancient era. So I think if we, the people of our society, change our mentality, then both our society and our country will move forward.
And if we, whether we are boys or girls, are both self-reliant, then no parent will have to suffer in old age.Thank you friends for taking the time to read the story I shared.

MODs Comment/Recommendation:
You just made a striking point which is fact today. People are still living in their ancient life when the world have evolved already. Best of luck in this contest. Try justifying your work next time
