Saskia Faith's Faith Dedication Day To The Lord

On March 5,2025 my niece was dedicated to the Lord in her 7 months old. It takes this long because the church pastor waited my brother, who was the child of the baby. My brother was on vacation from his military training that is whay the child was dedicated on that day. It was held at the province of Sogod, 2 hours bus trip from our city.

I had filed a leave from work so I can attend the child’s dedication. We travelled earlier at 6:oo in the morning and we arrived at 7:45. The driver’s bus speed range from 60-70 kph. In the northern part of Cebu, there is no traffic that is why we arrived earlier.

When we came, relatives and friends of the child’s mother is busy preparing the venue and food. My mother helped some preparation in the kitchen. There was group of young ladies who arranged the set-up in the lunch buffet.

The ceremony was scheduled to start at 10am. When everything is ready, the dedication ceremony started and the church pastor welcomed everyone. The family and the sponsors had the processional to the pulpit. Unexpectedly, a former actor came along, he was supposed to visit for a campaign in mayor’s position. We were starstruck because he is so handsome. We were able to take pictures and shook hands to him.

The program started earlier at 10am. There was a worship song before reading the Bible. The dedication time followed. The pastor get the child in front of the pulpit. He utterred words of dedication and offered the child to the Lord.
After the ceremony, we have some pictorials. We took the opportunity to have some captured memories with the peopleinvited.

At 11:30am we were preapred to the reception area just inside the church compound. I became the instant and on the spot Emcee. We had prayed and had some games. At 12:00noon we started eating together. There were so many foods on the buffet table. We enjoy eating foods together.

At 1pm we prepared to leave he venue. We said goodbyes to the family of mybrother’s girlfriend. We passed by a tourist atttraction before going home.
