Update #109: Writing Expedition ✍️ [The Diary Game]

Hello everyone, I have intentions in posting a diary game post here in steemit because I haven't done that for a very long time now. I just want to talk about the Saturday before Easter Sunday in last month. 19th April is the date. I have always seen alot of diary game posts in steemit and I have been wishing I can get the opportunity to create one someday at least around the first half of this year.

I don't really get the opportunity to take pictures of some events and am not a fan of selfies but once in a while I do take selfies. That Saturday my friend who's a steemian like you and I were both in the church from morning till afternoon and also came back in the evening to serve the Easter Virgil Mass, he even mentioned me in his diary game post about that particular day.

I arrived at the church before him that day and I ensured that all out younger members present that morning were doing one or two tasks. Everyone were engaged with alot of activities in the next one hour. Our Men in the church were playing football that morning and is obvious to me that they have a football tournament coming up soon.

We washed vestments and after that we entered inside the church for rehearsals especially rehearsals for the evening mass that took place that evening. I wore yellow polo to church that morning as you can see I was addressing my members after we concluded our rehearsal and we were trying to make some arrangements for those that will serve mass in the upcoming week.

At 1pm the church compound was looking empty as most of the men have left and only two cars were remaining in the church compound. I was very tired that afternoon and I really needed to go home on time so that I can do somethings before coming back to serve the evening mass. The president made a brief announcement after the rehearsal and we said the closing prayer and went to our various homes.

Once again I went to the church to make some arrangements for the Easter Virgil Mass. One of the securities and I started preparing firewoods that will be burnt for the mass and that is where we will take light from, to light the huge candle. We prepared the woods and waited patiently for our Catechist to bring fuel so that we can light it up.

I was very busy that evening and when we finally light up the firewood I left that place and joined our president to wear vestment for the mass. The younger boys have already worn theirs and they were waiting patiently for our Reverend Father to come out from his compound and start the mass. It was a fantastic mass that.
