Congratulations ๐๐๐ to My Daughter and Son On Their Graduation ๐๐
As a mother, I have always wished my children a continuous growth and it has been happening in their lives with the help of the Almighty. I have witnessed my kids graduate from kindergarten to basic school, from basic school to high school and now, gradually, they are also graduating from there.
On Saturday, July 26th, 2025, my daughter graduated from high school while my son graduated from Junior high school, transiting to Senior high school. It was a wonderful moment to me as a parent and I am truly grateful to the Almighty for granting them these success.
It has not been easy because they had to write exams to be able to qualify for these graduations. My daughter has written her SSCE (Senior School Certificate Examination) while my son wrote JSCE (Junior school certificate examination). Paying for the exams and at the same time paying for their graduation wasn't easy but I am grateful that we were able to ensure that they go through these.
The graduation was fixed and bills were to be paid including their school fees and their graduation fees of which if they don't complete them, they won't graduate. Thankfully, all these are now in the past. Thanks to Steemit.
Preparations were made starting with the clothes they will put on that day according to the colour agreed by the school. The junior grade are to put on dark red while the senior are to put on nervy blue. I bought the material for the girl and her niece helped to sew it. My son has that colour of cloth already and so there was no need. But I had to buy their shoes, and ensure that other necessary things are ready including the refreshment aspect. Thankfully, they were all ready.
I travelled back to meet with my family from my place of employment with their nieces who wanted to be there to witness their graduation ๐. My daughter got her hair made on Friday while my son cut his hair. They were all looking stunning! On the said day, I prepared a delicious fried rice to start the day with. I ordered egg rolls for entertainment and prepared African salad. I also bought some drinks.
The graduation followed the printed program which was the introduction of the MC, then opening prayer by the chapel prefect, then the I production of the chairman and members of the high table, after that, procession of the graduands accompanied by their parents. I was the one who danced with my kids to present them to the school. The video below will show the vibes, the dances and the joy. After that, welcome speech was done by the school Administrator (SA). Then other programs followed including a farewell speech from the senior prefect who is my daughter. She had printed the speech she wrote which I helped her with. She went up with it and gave her speech filled with emotions.
Then there were others from other graduating levels that have their own farewell speeches. We were also entertained with news, dances, debates, songs and many more from the kids. It was a short down so to speak because my attention was in all the programs. I didn't feel like it should end soon due to how entertaining it was. However, it ended on a wonderful note with prayer too.
All these while, I was videoing and capturing the moments with my camera and from my seat but @bossj23 was closer and he was able to capture captivating moments that I love so much. He also took pictures of the graduands and us as well. You can't wait to view the video and the pictures right? Lol ๐๐๐๐! You will indeed see them all down below.
The kids received some gifts both from the school and from teachers and friends. Then we went home and friends came around too and we're all entertained with the little refreshment we were able to present.
The feelings for my daughter especially was topnotch. She felt really good that she could graduate along with her mates without any hindrance. That is the best we can do for her as her parents. We were also there to cheer her up. She felt fulfilled and satisfied. That's so great. I am also happy for them. I felt a deep sense of joy within me, seeing these kids progress to this level. Well, they still have other endeavours to undertake but hopefully, they will be successful. Yes, it was a done deal for them both. Congratulations ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ to you both my kids @forwis09 who graduated from senior High school and to my son who graduated from junior high school. All the best to you both. I will be here for you both but the Almighty will forever be there for you both. Always have him in mind in all you do.

Congratulations to them, it was an exciting day not just for the graduands but for me too. My son who graduated from the nursery class came the best graduating pupil in his class in the both arms of the kindergarten class.
More wins and success to the graduands!
