Weekly Contest 39 || The Diary Game | Being So Happy Because I Was Called On For Industrial Cleaning (02/08/2025)

My friends in the platform, I hail you all. My name is @otiumoren so allow me to share a glimpse of my day with you my friends, it might interest you to know that I really had so much fun while doing my job today but you can get while reading this post, so stay here and allow me be your host to my diary.

I woke up and I was called by my client and told that I will be coming to his house for industrial cleaning, this was the best news of the week so far, so this is how my week will be on a beautiful note, I was so happy, I screamed self and my neighbor came out and asked me what happened that it warrant me to shout, I couldn't share the news just get till I get to where I was called to come and work.

You want to know why I was so happy when this client called me? Because the man is very generous, he pays handsomely even beyond the agreed price so I was out of the sky when I heard. I took my equipments, blowers, brush scrappers and went there, I also took some chemicals with me so that I can use it on where there were stubborn stains. The place is far from where I live, so I took a walk to the park and paid for my ticket before I was taken there.

When I got to the man's place, oh my God the house was dirty and I did not come here with anyone, I wished I came here with someone to help me out, I would've been happy, so inorder not to feel lazy about the work, I had to begin my work. I removed my blower and began to work on the parlour, I blew some dirt and dust out of the man's couch. I don't know if he was staying here for this kind of dirt to occupy his house.

The parlour looked neat and cleaned up when I finished with it but the dinning had some oil stain I needed to use chemical to clean it up. Poor me was just doing everything by myself, how I wish I had eaten before I came here, I only took snacks so that it can sustain me till I come here.

While I was still thinking of what to eat because it was very late, the man called and asked me to check his kitchen that there is food there, my eyes opened wide, he actually asked someone to cook and keep for me, this level of generosity needed to be appreciated, I immediately sent him a text telling him how grateful I was, he also asked me to take the banana and used it to eat the rice.

While eating, my wife's call came in and she asked me if I had eaten, I told her that my client had made provision for me to eat before coming so right now I was eating, we talked about the work and it old her I will come back so that we could go to church together, then I told her I loved her and we hanged up the call.

When I finished eating, I took the scrappers outside to scrape the rust on his protectors, they were very rusty, and thanks to God he dropped a paint I could repaint it with. Its not part of my job description but I decided to do it because of his generosity, it's not everyone that would want to stress themselves to take care of their workers.

By 5pm, I had cleaned up everywhere so I went back home, though I was tired but we had crusade in church to attend to, me and my wife, I did not want to miss it, so immediately I went back home, I bathed and wore my clothes then went to church.

When I got to church, I saw my wife, she had reserved a seat for me at the front and when I went, she took her bible and asked me to sit in front of her, this is why I love this woman, she looks after my welfare even when I am not there with her. The praise session was fire, I danced and took pictures but they are too much to be shared, so let me share this one my wife's face showed.

When we got back from church, I told my wife that I am filled from the food my client gave me, as we were discussing, I had an alert from him and when I checked it was my payment for the job, it was almost *2 of what we agreed on, I mailed him again and appreciated him, one of these days I will be going to his house with a wine to appreciate him properly.
