Update #105: Writing Expedition ✍️, Have Fun while Writing! Poem
Hello Lovelies I'm excited to share my Quintet with you in this writing expedition contest. In one of my tranquil moments this flows into mind. Read, enjoy and reflect!
The Sea
Oh! the sea, a place to be
An abode for amazing creatures
A Desire for the eyes to see more
and a wonder in the heart beneath
The seashore and it's estuary,
a place for pleasure and closeness to nature,
it's natural air refreshes the lovers affection,
It's warm sun tans the sagging skin.
The seabed is another world of its own,
Full of life and bubbling of life,
The creatures octopus, plankton and the sea mermaid ,
too numerous to mention
Take their abode in the serenity of the deep sea.
The sea a place well beautified by nature itself
Surrounded with mountains, snowfall, mangroves and the sand,
A safe haven for seafarers and those who come to you for business and help.
I'll always love the sea a place of my unending admiration,
Because you are calm, lively, rich and full of adventure,
The sea your fun would forever be in the heart of your visitors and admirers like me.

Thanks for your reviews, have noted , being the first time of making my lines open , I'll research for more and make adjustment where neccessary . The beauty of any literary work is subjecting to criticism then reviews but you should remember there are fourteen lines poem written in iambic. Secondly, poem can be written in a free style with unequal rhymes.
