I have not been able to sit at my sewing machine for several days due to my illness, due to which I have not been able to make any clothes and share them with my friends. After many days, I am starting to work on the sewing machine little by little again. Today I will show you the cutting and stitching of a round neck maxi. It took me half an hour to make this maxi.

The size of this maxi was,,

Body=37"
Sleeve=53"
Sleeve=9"
Sleeve=13"

Materials required for this work
🧬Scissors
🧬Ribbon
🧬Chalk
🧬3 yards 12 gauge cloth

Step 1

First, I took my necessary materials in place and prepared to cut the cloth.

Step 2

In this step, I folded the cloth into four folds by adding 3 to the 53+3 inch hem. Then I marked the neck with 3 inches, the neck depth with 5 inches, the bottom with 4 inches, and the armpit with 7 inches with chalk.

Step 3

This time I cut it with scissors according to the marks. I cut the neck part separately at 8 inches.

Step 4

Here I added 2 to the sleeve with 9 inches and cut it with scissors with the help of 13+1 inch with the hem.

Step 5

In the fourth step, I came to the sewing machine and first I sewed the two parts of the maxi body with a stitch.

Step 6

In the fifth step, I sewed the two neck bands.

Step 7

In this step, I sewed the stitched body part with the neck band and joined it.

Step 8

In this step, I sewed the two sides of the maxi. I also sewed the bottom side.

Step 9

In this step, I completed making my maxi by sewing the sleeves and sewing them to the body of the maxi.
