Giving children freedom is simply motivated based on trust in them hence, if this trust is misused, it leads to less or no freedom. Freedom is letting them have certain liberty and responsibilities on their own.

However, it's not always a good thing to let them loose, hence I admire the fact you let your kid do things on her own under your supervision as a parent must support and guide their kids throughout their lifetime. I must say I did enjoy your entry, thank you and all the best.
