Assalamu alaikum all my steemian friends

Hope everyone are well and healthy by the grace of Almighty Allah.I am also very well by the grace of the Almighty Allah,Alhamdulillah for that.I am a teacher by profession, a volunteer blood donor. I am a housewife, and alongside that, I am a student and a blogger.The reason I’m here today to attend the contest which is organized by @steemkidss. I am very happy for that.Today, I will share my food dairy of the day.So.without further ado,let's get started.

In the morning after waking up and refreshing myself, I always have some light snacks. I prefer light foods after getting up because I don't feel good eating heavy meals in the morning. In the morning, after waking up, I send my son to madrasa for Arabic education. Therefore, I let him have some light snacks after getting out of bed. I made Horlicks for Rihan in the morning. Rihan had never been given Horlicks as an extra food before; I started giving him this drink a while ago since Horlicks has many nutritional benefits, which play an important role in children's development. Along with that, I gave him two biscuits. After he had his light breakfast in the morning, I sent him off to madrasa. Since Rihan is a child in a growing age, I always try to provide him with nutritious food.

Then noon arrived, and I was preparing to cook for lunch. Most of the time, my mother helps me with cooking. She cuts all the vegetables for me, which makes my cooking process easier and benefits me a lot. For lunch, mom said to make roti because she doesn't enjoy eating rice every day. So, roti was made for lunch along with fried sweet pumpkin and spiced lentils. My younger son absolutely loves eating lentils. Lentils are a nutritious food for children and contain a lot of protein. However, some people can't eat lentils due to allergies. I cooked everything alone for lunch and became very tired.

We Bengalis always prioritize food. As fish-and-rice people, our food items tend to be quite lavish. I don't know about everyone, but I am very particular and always try to follow a good diet for myself and my family.

In the evening, my son was insisting that he wanted to eat Mughlai paratha. Since I don't get time every day due to busyness, I was free yesterday afternoon, so I made Mughlai paratha for my son and the entire family. To make it, you need flour, eggs, onions, green chilies, etc. Mughlai paratha can be easily made with ingredients available at home, but with the current heat, it feels quite uncomfortable to cook. As long as I stay in the kitchen, I end up drenched in sweat.

My son loves eating noodles very much, and he also loves to eat quail eggs. So, I thought that at night I would surprise him by cooking noodles. Kids generally love surprises, which is why I often surprise him by cooking his favorite foods without him knowing. That night, I had made two servings of noodles and boiled some quail eggs. This way, I had prepared dinner for him.

To live a healthy life, the contribution of nutritious food is very important. Therefore, we should always pay attention to our diet. We can eat whatever we like, but we should make our own food list to identify which foods are more necessary or nutritious for our bodies.
