Assalamu Alaikum everyone. Today I'm going to participate in the latest week of the Steem Kids & Parents Community Engagement Challenge. The subject of this challenge is Share/Develop your creativity (DIY). I like this topic very much because it is very creative. Today I will discuss DIY in detail and show you how to make a craft.

what do you understand by DIY, state what you can be able to do yourself and explain them briefly

What I mean by DIY is Do It Yourself. More than that, it means using your creative skills. DIY is about doing something yourself that showcases your creative talent. If I speak for myself, I would say that I can make many crafts out of paper. I have made this craft in various competitions. All the skills I have are I make origami and different crafts with paper. Also apart from craft I can draw. Which is one of my favorite hobbies. I love to sketch any landscape or people.

How do you feel after you have made anything by yourself and what do you use those things you have made for?

I feel better when I make something with my own hands. I feel very happy especially when I think of my brain or turn my idea into reality. In fact, I think this feeling is shared by everyone. I like to keep most of my creations organized in my closet.

They inspire me a lot towards work. I use my different crafts to decorate my house. My creativity as well as enhances the beauty of the house.

Today, I will show you how to make (paper vase).

Below is what I need to make a paper vase :

• Light Blue Color Card Sheets.
• Yellow and green color paper.
• Glue gum.
• Scissors.
• Scotch tape for round shapes.
• Pearl.
• Pencil.

Step : 1

• First I will take the blue hard sheet paper. Which I will fold on the two sides. And you should see that it looks like three corners. Then I'll stick it on well with glue gum.

Step : 2

-Then I take another piece of paper and use scotch tape to make a circular shape with two pencils.

Step : 3

• Then I cut out the round with the scissors. After cutting I will glue the two round shape paper together.

Step : 4

• Then I cut one side of the circular paper. Then I will glue it there.

Step : 5

• Then I glue the round paper cut to a good shape to make a hat. Next I will cut out the bottom part of the triangle shape vase body. Then I will attach the body part and the round part of the vase with glue.

Step : 6

• Then I take yellow color paper color. And I will cut them into 3 parts with triangle shaped shape. Then I will fold it from both sides.

Step : 7

• Then I cut my folded paper in half with scissors to make a leaf.

Step : 8

• ** I have cut the paper into leaf shapes. I have made a total of 3 flowers like this.**

Step : 9

• Then you can see that I have glued two yellow flowers at the top and one at the bottom.

Step : 10

• Next I added some leaves with green color paper. Then I put three pearls in the middle of the three flowers with glue. So that looks nice.

what's your Advice to those who are finding it difficult to take part in anything DIY?

I think I would say to those who find it difficult to participate in something DIY to practice more. I believe if you want to master something there is no substitute for practice. I also could not do so much creative work before. But I have done a lot of practice which has helped me become prefect in this. So I will tell them that they should not be afraid of any creative works. Fear must be overcome and creative work must be undertaken. Then all the DIY related tasks will seem very easy.
