Creativewriting || The first pleasant rain
Friends, admins and all moderators of the beloved community. Fun things don't necessarily come from traveling, vacationing, gathering together and the like. However, being grateful for every blessing and grace that we receive is a very pleasant thing that we need to celebrate and be grateful for.
As happened in our rural area some time ago. Which about a week ago, the rain fell heavily, which was the first rain after a long dry season.
The rain fell and became a very pleasant blessing and grace, not only I felt it, but all the residents in my rural area also enjoyed it. Because with the heavy rain, the rivers began to fill up again, the farmers' rice fields began to be irrigated, and the planting season will begin quickly.
Because generally the economy of rural communities is very dependent on agricultural land, meaning that with the presence of water, agricultural land can be quickly cultivated again.
The first rain that fell heavily a few days ago, was enough to make our rural communities feel happy. Because they can quickly cultivate their rice fields again to face this planting season. Because if the dry season arrives, of course the rice fields cannot be cultivated, even the most threatening famine will occur.
The first rain that fell heavily after a long dry season, I also did not forget to be grateful by increasing my worship to the Almighty. Because with the abundance of His grace and gifts, this life can be enjoyable, of course with the sustenance that has been poured out.

I can imagine this because in Nigeria, we usually feel intense heat from December to February and when it finally falls, we sing praises. Sometimes I ask myself why we do complain when rain falls excessively and complain when sun shines, causing intense heat for a prolong period of time. Thanks for sharing.
