SC S25W4: Drawing mecha anime
Hello guys, it's @us-andrew here....
I did a Mecha Anime Pencil art, and I want you to tell me how it looks.
A Mecha anime is a type of anime that's characterized by robots with mechanic feature. Giving them distinct features and abilities which only large machines can have.
To draw Mecha anime, you need to learn the basics and proportions of shapes form circle to square to other advanced shape drawing like isometric circle which is drawn with the help of compasses....
This one, I drew Gundam from the popular Mecha anime series called Mobile suit.
N/B Without activating his weapons
About:
The rebel space colonies of the Principality of Zeon launch a war of independence against the Earth Federation, using humanoid fighting vehicles called mobile suits to overwhelm the Federation Forces and conquer half of Earth's surface.

I started by drawing a sketch to show how my image would look like. I did the sketch by using my HB pencil..
They don't usually have a mouth and nose. Parts are usually cover in metals. But that's not considered. I divided the round head , adding point for them.
After that, I started sketching out the metal body of the work from the left arm. Carefully drawing them with the HB pencil still.
These two images below represents what I'm saying right here.
Drawing a Mecha anime is not like drawing every other anime that's simple to easily sketch out. This one needs more time and concentration. Any silly mistake can make you start all over. Thank God I didn't make any silly mistakes.

In this slide, I completed the full body sketch of the image but only left with the head.
I wanted to be through with the body and lower part before paying full attention to the head, in order to avoid making mistake.
In this slide , I detailed the drawing by adding more ink to the sides and edges. I also added shadows for the feet . Then I started drawing the antenna for the hard and face as seen.
Here , I started shading the work, leaving portions of light exposure untouched.
Here, I was halfway through with the shading.
In this slide, I was done with the shading. Leaving out the light exposure parts untouched...
It was looking rough, so I had to blend it with cotton bud. Just like I have always been doing.....
Then, it looks better than before.
All I did here was to add the date and my username
And this is my final result.,
This is a picture of me with my art;

¡Hola!
