Our Very First Fish

Hello, everyone! I hope we are all in great health and hope and faith.

The Philippines had been hit by series of earthquakes, typhoons, and flash floods and it was very scary. Even though areas affected were not near my location, I do heartily worry about my kababayan who sleeps on the open field because they are too afraid of getting inside their homes when aftershocks were still present.

Anyway, let me tell yo about our very first fish; It was a very exciting moment in our lives and even the kids have been very excited about it.

We got two tilapia fish from my husband's friend, he was quit fish keeping because he got very busy in school and his mum don't want to take care of them. One fine afternoon, my husband went to their house bringing in an empty bucket and when he returned, three fish was inside it; too bad some other friends had also come to take fish.

Of course the kids are very excited to see the fish and Aelie could not stop scooping the fish out. They all wanted to hold the fish and pet them because of their cuteness.

I even had a hard time taking pictures of the fish because the three kids gathered round and looked at the fish on the bucket

They continued on catching the fish with their hands and soon we stopped them so that the fish will not be very stressed and die.

Aside from the fish that we had, I also had a great day with my kids; during midnight, my son cried and he did not left my arms; he fell asleep over me. He was not feeling very well and he really missed me a lot; I only had Sundays to spent the day with them that is why my son clings to me every time ha got the chance.

In the morning, we enjoyed fried dried fish paired with rice and coffee; It was the best! Eating with the ones you love will make the food taste even better and thank God to that

In the afternoon, my husband bought a weird fish; I only got used to very few fish species and this one? It's my first time seeing it and I honestly didn't like the taste and smell even when we fried it.

When my son woke up; we had a bonding, we played on the living room and soon when my son was entertained with his toys, I went to play with mine; and cutting old dresses to upgrade is never an easy game.

I had this sewing dream; thanks to online shops who sells affordable sewing machines which made me get a hold of my dream.

I and my second born also had a a wonderful time while eating bread and drinking milk, she had lots of stories to tell and we had a great time; I really love my kids and i know they love me very much; a kind of love that cannot be sold nor compared.

And lastly, before the sun set, I was able to visit my flower which had a beautiful bloom. Walking Iris is really beautiful and its color of just so amazing!

I also saw a little bug on my garden but left them there because I don't think they hare harmful

it was a very log and productive day for me, and the highlight is that I got to spend it with my kids and family. Though being a mom is a difficult thing, I am glad that my kids loves me with all their heart to see beyond what I can't give them.

I hope they stay this way until the grow up and that they woudl see mine and my husband's sacrifices for them.
