Eid -ul -Adha, also known as the Eid altar, is not just a religious duty for Muslims, but also a social and economically precursor to a major change. This day is celebrated in remembrance of the sacrifice of Abraham in the presence of Allah. Muslims around the world sacrifice animals on that day, and there are many aspects associated with this sacrifice, the most important of which is the leather business.

I went to a nearby center on the second day of Eid al -Adha, where people were collecting and selling the skins of the sacrificial animal. As soon as I got there, the specific aroma of leather from a distance felt in the air. There was a wonderful engagement and enthusiasm.

The skins of the sacrificial animal were gathered on all sides in the form of piles - some new, some were wrapped in dry stages and some in plastic. In a country like Pakistan, where millions of animals are sacrificed, there is a raw leather worth millions of rupees every year in the market. Millions of skins accumulate in just one day, and their proper use can lead to economic improvement.

I noticed that in some places the skins were not being protected properly. Some people throw away the precious skins on the ground, on which flies are shaking and increases the risk of getting worse. It not only causes financial loss but also has negative effects on the environment.

Talking to people there, it was discovered that some buyers are interested in buying only skins in big and good condition, while rejecting small or damaged leather. A local buyer said, "The demand for good leather is high, and if the skin is not properly cleaned or stored immediately, it is lost."

Lack of awareness is also a major problem. Many people do not know how to save the skin or where and at what cost. As a result, many skins are wasted or sold at a very low cost, which only benefits the medium businessmen. "We are happy that our sacrifice is used in the work of goodness," he said.

Such people are becoming successful but their thinking is commendable. If the government, the public, and the welfare organizations improve this system together, this valuable leather, which is gathered after the sacrifice, can play a significant role in the domestic economy.

Only organizations need to control through registration, formulate clear principles for buyers and sellers, and raise awareness among the public. We should not only give the animal of the sacrifice, but also to perform every aspect of worship and responsibility.
