Have you ever been to Takengon city? What tourist attractions are famous there? Can you see Takengon city from the mountain? Yes you can, by visiting Burtelege. Burtelege is a highland area around the city of Takengon. Burtelege has an altitude of about 1000 meters and if we look down, we will see the entire Fresh Sea Lake. This tourist spot is open every day starting from 07.00 WIB and closing at 21.00 WIB. Burtelege also presents a very beautiful view of the city of Takengon.

Once inside, we will descend some stairs to get to the bottom. On the right and left are benches to sit on while enjoying the cool air and the view of the city. Visitors are very busy coming here because Burtelege is one of the must-visit places for foreigners.

Entrance Gate

The entrance gate is made of wood, very simple. It shows the natural side of the tourist spot as it is located on top of a mountain.

Seating

The seating provided by Burtelege consists of tables and benches. The tables and benches are made of wood and number around 10 units. These benches can be used by visitors to take a short break and enjoy the view. To get here, it takes a struggle to go up on foot from the bottom to the top.

Floor Seating

In addition to tables and chairs, Burtelege also provides seating directly on the floor. The floor is covered with a green grass-like carpet. The floor seating is different from the previous seating, this seating can lean back and is not exposed to rain because there is a roof that protects.

City View

This is the most special part of the Burtelege tourist spot, being able to enjoy the beauty of Takengon city. When standing here, all the activities of the people can be seen and the vehicles running also resemble toys.

Family

There are many suitable and beautiful photo spots in this Burtelege. I went here with my family consisting of my father, mother, wife and children. It was a little disappointing that my two younger siblings couldn't join the walk. I also did not forget to immortalize this place by taking a photo at the Burtelege writing.

Delman Train

On the left side, there is a delman train as one of the objects for visitors to take pictures. This is focused more on families with small children. There are so many children who want to take pictures here because they love the delman train. The delman is assembled with well-organized wood and has been painted perfectly to resemble a real delman train.

Flying Carpet

On the right side, there is a flying carpet that can be used as a photo spot as well. This carpet directs the view to the lake and the mountains surrounding the lake, so the resulting photo has the lake in the background. The brown carpet is tied with both sides on the tree. There are stairs made of tree trunks for visitors to climb onto the flying carpet.

Pathways

Burtelege also provides a view of fresh vegetation. These plants are located on the paths leading to the Burtelege location.

Coffee Gallery

Takengon is the best coffee producer in Aceh, so it seems impossible that tourist attractions do not serve coffee drinks. Burtelege also provides a place to drink coffee at the Coffee Gallery, visitors who are tired of walking around here or already feel cold body temperature, it feels very good to sip a cup of coffee. With a cup of coffee the body will be re-energized.
