Today is a special day for our villagers. Since morning, the atmosphere at the village health post has been more crowded than usual. Mothers, toddlers, the elderly and several other residents seemed enthusiastic about participating in the free health services organized by the village in collaboration with the criminal justice officers from the nearest health center. This activity is routinely held as a form of community concern, especially those who may have difficulty seeking treatment independently.

Medical personnel have been opening the service since eight in the morning. The services provided are quite complete, starting from weighing and measuring toddlers, blood pressure checks, giving vitamins and immunizations, to free health consultations for residents who have complaints. Mothers bring their children in the hope of getting a comprehensive growth and development check, while the elderly also take advantage of this moment to check their health condition regularly.

The most enjoyable thing is the family atmosphere that is built in this activity. The posyandu cadres from our village also helped organize the queue, record data and welcome residents in a friendly manner. Everyone works together for the sake of smooth service. There is even a small STAN that provides drinks and snacks for residents who come, adding to the warmth of the atmosphere.

This free health service not only helps residents in terms of medical aspects, but also raises awareness of the importance of maintaining health from an early age. Especially for parents, the education provided by officers about child nutrition and healthy lifestyles is very helpful to be applied in everyday life.

As a villager, I am very grateful for this kind of activity. Equalizing access to health services, although done simply at the village health post, has had a big impact on people's lives. Hopefully, this activity will continue and become a real example that attention to public health is an investment for a better future. By being healthy, people can be more productive and the village will be more advanced.
