Visiting my brother who is being treated in hospital

Tonight I took the time to go to Cut Mutia Hospital to visit my brother who is being treated there. I made this decision even though I didn't bring my child and wife, because my daughter's condition who was cranky all day made me worried that if I brought her along it would make the situation not conducive. Finally I chose to go with my neighbor and colleague who also had the same intention, which was to visit my brother.

Upon arrival at the hospital, we went straight to the treatment room where my brother was being treated. There I was greeted by his wife who was faithfully accompanying him. We immediately chatted to find out about his condition. I asked directly how my brother was doing at the moment. His wife explained that until tonight there had been no certainty from the doctor regarding a definite diagnosis, and they still had to wait for the X-ray schedule which was planned to be done the next day.

Hearing that, my heart was of course worried, but I still tried to convey support and prayers for Abang to be given a speedy recovery. In a condition like this, the most we can do is to provide encouragement and reassure that family and those closest to him are always there for him.

Because it was getting late and my wife reminded me to fulfill her request to buy something from the shop, then I asked for permission. I had to go home immediately because I was worried that the shop in question would close if it was too late.

Tonight is a night that brings a lot of feelings, emotion, attention and responsibility. Although simple, this visit to the hospital reminds me of the importance of maintaining friendship and how meaningful our presence is when someone is going through a difficult time. Hopefully my brother will be given a speedy recovery and the entire examination process can run smoothly. Amen 🤲
