Sleepless Night Because My Daughter Is Sick

It's 12 midnight in June 17, when I was awake because my daughter is very hot. She is sick with a body temperature of 38°C and it gets higher. She also has a wet stool then vomited later. I started using wet towel to wipe her body to reduce fever. I carefully gave her a paracetamol because she might spit it. I also gave an erceflora probiotic supplement. She sleeps soundly and I continued wiping her body with wet towel.

Then an hour later, I got hungry. My stomach is asking something to eat. Using my online food order, I ordered a 9" Hawaiian pizza worth P 250.00 or approximately 22 STEEMS. When the rider arrives, I let my husband pick it up because it's already 2 in the dawn and it's scary outside. I eat because this will be a sleepless night for I need to follow up the body temperature of my daughter. After I eat, I continued wiping her and sleep at 4 early in the morning.

When it's 6am, my daughter cried. My head is really aching and I can't stand yet. I let my husband take care of her. But my child didn't stop crying, so I have to stand and do my role as a mother. She still poop wet and has a fever, so I decided to bring her in an available pedia. We listed our name on the clinic and went outside again so we can eat our meal first.

While waiting for our turn, we eat chicken meal outside with noodle soup. My daughter still don't have the appetite but she eats crackers.

When it's our turn, they get the height and weight of my daughter. Everything is normal. The pediatrician interviewed us about the child. I really like the way she surveys our child and give some advices.

My daughter is afraid of stethoscope and other doctor's materials. She cried when the doctor checks her physically. After, she gave us prescription on the medicines that she needs to take. I am just a bit worried because the doctor told us if this persist, and the dehydration gets deeper, she needs to be admitted at the hospital.

Then, I bought all the medicines, I spend all my money left just to make my daughter feels well. Getting sick is very expensive but I didn't mind it for as long my daughter will get well. Then, I only had penny left for the transportation fare in going home.

Tonight, as she sleeps, I am praying to the Creator to heal my daughter. I don't have much money for more expenses but I have so much faith in him. Now, my daughter just take paracetamol to ease her fever. Then while she sleeps I give her oral rehydration solution. She didn't eat and didn't ask for milk, only water.

For now, I have to rest. I have to attend my school duty so I can have salary. This has been my diary game. I am inviting @sualeha @jyoti-thelight to write your diary, too.
