Thank You for the Support! We're Going Home

Today is the day of Thanksgiving. We are discharged from the hospital. Life there is not easy behind those comfortable room and caring people who monitored my husband's condition.

We stayed for almost two days, but our bill reaches 50k (approximately 6250 STEEMS). There I realized more the importance of health in one's lifestyle. Everyday, we are able to live free, we breath free. But when our body becomes weak, we have to pay the price.

As soon as I wakes up, I prepared the breakfast of my husband. I groom myself then I walked to the nurse station to ask about the status of my husband. I told them that we need to hear his doctor so that we will not stay long because our hospital bill is increasing.

I went to the billing station and processes the Phil health insurance of my husband. I ask for the tentative billing. Then I went back upstairs to wait for further instructions.

Then a nurse came, she handed us the duplicate laboratory test then instructed us to wait for the final announcement of the doctor and our final billing. I read the diagnosis of the doctor, and it is Vasovagal syncope. She handed us the prescriptions for the fast recovery of my husband.

When the bill came, I have to pay 46,000 ( 5750 STEEMS). Since I paid partial payment of 32,000, I need to pay 14,000 so we can be discharge and can go home. I am so thankful for all the people who helped us financially, our burden became lesser than we think.

When the nurse station signaled us to settle the bill, I immediately process it so we can go home right away.

Before 2pm, we were ready to go home. We rode a taxi in going home. My husband cook right away while I do the laundry.
