Greetings of peace my dear friends!

Today, I go to school for work as a public school teacher. My work starts at 6:30am but my class will start at 7am. I am handling grade 1 pupils. Reading and writing are the basic teachings in our grade level. We are so thankful that Ronald McDonald of McDonald's fastfood store donated some big story books for the little children.

Their snack schedule is at 9am for 10 minutes. While they are taking their snacks, I am preparing the room for the story telling. When the snacks time is over, I gathered them in front in an organized setting.

I pick this story entitled "Bilog Ang Itlog". It is related with shapes and a story of differences. I think this is best for them as a reflection of childhood experiences and learnings.

I let them gather in front. While others who can't sit on the chairs, they squat on the floor. I think they enjoys squatting than sitting on the floor. I set the mood first before starting the story. Then I started.

I saw in their face the excitement. While I am starting telling the story, they all listened. Maybe they just missed the traditional story telling than watching story telling on television. I saw their facial expressions getting change from different expressions.

Pupils really love to listen stories. After the story, I ask some questions and they can really answer. This I know that they are really listening.

After the story telling, we continues to the next subject. At 11am I dismissed the class. I cleaned the room for the afternoon session or another grade level. I took my lunch outside the school then have my lunch break.

This is just another diary game as a teacher. I hope you enjoy reading. I am inviting @natz04 @jyoti-thelight to write your diary game , too.

Truly yours,
@jes88
