Hey Steemians!

It is with joy and enthusiasm that I participate in this competition proposed by Recreational Steem, which invites us to explore the fascinating twists and turns of superstition and to share our beliefs, our doubts and our personal experiences on this subject that is both mysterious and universal.

Do you believe in superstitions? If you affirm that you are superstitious, in a scale from 1 to 10, then you are superstitious. If you don't explain it, why?

Yes, I believe in superstitions because they are part of the Eastern cultural heritage that has shaped my vision of the world and life. Although I maintain a critical and rational view of certain aspects of these beliefs, I cannot deny that their symbolic power and ancestral strength resonate within me. On a scale of one to ten, I would place myself at a six, because I still feel the faint shadow of these traditions in my daily life, even if I try not to make them dogmas that guide my steps.

Do you think that being superstitious can control the luck of destiny?

I sincerely believe that while superstition may offer a certain sense of comfort and the illusion of control over luck and fate, the deeper truth is that destiny remains an unfathomable mystery that humankind can only guess at and never truly master, Eastern philosophy holds that the energies of the universe are beyond human control and that it is up to us only to cultivate inner harmony to better navigate the currents of existence.

What do you think of this superstition, "Don't settle down, don't embark, and don't leave your house"?

This superstition, which warns us against unions, travel, and movement on certain days considered unlucky, seems to me deeply rooted in the principles of balance and prudence that govern Eastern beliefs, as it reminds us that certain times are less conducive to major changes. However, I also believe that ultimately, it is the sincerity of the heart and the right intention that prevail, because true love and the call of adventure know no fixed calendar.

Do you think it's bad luck for the bride to see the bride before the wedding?

I find that this superstition, although ancient and often considered archaic by our contemporaries, nevertheless conceals a deep and subtle wisdom that deserves more nuanced attention. In Eastern traditions, marriage is not only the official union of two people, but a solemn rite where the singular energies of each individual meet and bind together, as well as the ancestral lineages to which they belong. This union is perceived as a sacred synergy that goes beyond the simple intimate and family framework, to be part of a larger, even cosmic, order where the balance of invisible forces guarantees the prosperity and longevity of the couple.

Thus, seeing each other before the ceremony, a gesture that our modern societies tend to minimize, is perceived in this traditional context as an act that would break the founding mystery of this union and threaten the expected harmony, it is a transgression that would undermine the purity of the blessings that the bride and groom hope to receive, and which could even weaken the spiritual protection surrounding this preliminary passage, this myth, often considered an outdated belief, nevertheless reveals a link with a fragile balance and a deep respect for the sacred and symbolic nature of marital commitment.

What other superstition do you know that can be shared with us? Do you think so?

Another superstition I often heard as a child is the one that forbids sweeping the house at night, for fear that wealth and prosperity will disappear with the dust. Although I've never seen any tangible evidence of this belief, I find it deeply evocative because it embodies the conviction that every daily act, even the simplest, can have invisible repercussions and shape the energy of our home and our lives.

Thank you very much for reading, it's time to invite my friends @pelon53, @ngoenyi, @genomil to participate in this contest.

Saludos apreciado amigo.
