My Mother's 66th Birthday Celebration

April 13 is my mother's birthday bit due to hectic schedules, I and my siblings moved it to the weekend.

She turned 66 this year and we are all thankful that she is still in great health and is blessed every day.

My siblings made an effort to come home , I miss them a lot and i know my mother does too.

Vani came came from El Salvador City, Ph, and it was a municipality that belonged to another province. Ate Nene came form the city and brought her family with her. And Inday also came with her daughters for the occasion .

Its never a problem for me because we leave my son to my mother while I and my wife goes to work. The eldest, Manoy Rerey lived next door to her and they keep in touch every day.

There are food, of course but I was not able to help my siblings prepares it since I had to report for duty in the Barangay Hall. We were so busy preparing for Banog-banog festival at that time and I was able to go to my mother's house at night.

Yoi was still at work and we took pictures while waiting for her.

My parents had 6 children and now they had 18 grandchildren! that's how big our family was and Thank God he sustained our needs in life.

It was never easy of course but we endured it. 66 years is quite long and these days, only a few are lucky to reach the age without any illness like my mother does.

After dinner, we had some karaoke, the young ones drank alcohol outside while having fun but I and my siblings stayed inside catching up to each other and talking about how life had been to us. It was kind of a small reunion for my family.

It was such a great day but every great thing has an end. A little later, it was late and we headed home. Yoi suggested we sleep over but realizing that everyone was here made us think that we may not fit even in the living room.
