I don't actually mind punicwax that much, although I think it should identify itself as an AI and provide an opt-out mechanism. Or ideally, it should only appear when summoned (like "grok" on Twitter). It's definitely not groundbreaking, but to me, it's slightly less spammy then all the "you have received a free upvote from witness __[such and such]__" comments.
