Ladybug on Green Leaf

in Beauty of Creativity5 hours ago

The insect expert calls this spotted little insect ladybird beetle or lady beetle, as these insects are not classified as true bugs, belongs to Coccinellidae. I found them in separate spots before dark. Actually, I used to find this kind of beetle near my house but this time I was interested in taking their pictures and bring these beautiful pieces to the surface. Actually, lady bug is not widespread name of this beetle, people in North America called ladybugs while in Britain and other countries call ladybird. We can only see detail thru the close-up photography or macro which enlarge the form of its body. It stayed very calm on the leaf even it did not notice me coming but when I started playing with some clicks. Most ladybirds have oval, dome-shaped bodies with six short legs. Depending on the species, they can have spots, stripes or no markings at all. Black spotted ladybugs are mostly found with their head is black with white patches on either side. Anyway, I got its body shots and that is fine as long as I can admire this creature that always attract me with its appearance. Ladybugs are considered highly beneficial, harmless insects. They don’t sting. And though they do rarely bite, it feels like a light pinch.

The small ladybug resting on a green leaf. Perhaps it hunted tiny bugs. Maybe it just enjoyed the quiet morning air. A perfect, calm moment unfolded. Seems like this simple beauty appeared in a normal garden.
