Stilt-legged Fly (Micropezidae)

in Beauty of Creativityyesterday

My new finding of the insect is Stilt-legged Fly (Micropezidae) that looks like fruit flies. Its appearance attracted me so badly but anytime I attempted to take a shot, it runs away and started running here and there. Unlike the other day, where I never successfully caught it because it moved quite a lot that often troubled me to take a shot with a smartphone. From the closest range, I was very thrilled seeing its shape and pattern and its long face really reminded me of someone wearing a gas mask. This species will catch your eye if you glance its way. Exposing itself to my camera, even it did not really care when I move my finger to a proper position, still it was acting as nothing happened. Right! Just stay there, let the world know you better from this range. This insect made me forget about time. Its remarkable appearance was really hard to let go. I guess I was so lucky on that day for I did not have to play hide and seek with it anymore. See you around buddy!
