Greetings fellow creatives and art lovers! 👋

Xylar blaze.png

I'm excited to share my latest digital artwork, 'Xylar Blaze,' which has just been successfully minted on NFT Showroom and is now available in my Reeyor's Vault collection.

This piece is a visual representation of intense sadness and frustration, emotions that surge through Xylar Blaze like a blazing red sun following a failed mission. Their translucent form, rendered with delicate detail, is overwhelmed by this powerful aura, a testament to the universal experience of disappointment.

'Xylar Blaze' was inspired by a personal experience I had on Saturday. Something made me quite angry, but I had to suppress it. As I remembered the scene, my thoughts turned a little dark, so I decided to channel that energy into something creative instead of dwelling on it. It's an exploration of how even alien beings might grapple with profound emotional turmoil, a theme I find compelling in its raw honesty.

You can find 'Xylar Blaze' and add it to your collection here: [https://nftshowroom.com/gallery/dreeyor_reeyors-vault_xylar-blaze]

I'd love to hear your thoughts on this piece and the emotions it evokes. What story do you see in Xylar Blaze?
My Creative Process:

My creative process for 'Xylar Blaze' was intense and focused, driven by the desire to translate this emotional concept into a visual form efficiently. I used Medibang Paint Pro for every step.

I began by meticulously drawing the outlines, using the curve snap tool to achieve precise forms. This initial stage required significant time and concentration to capture the intended silhouette and flow.

Next, I established the alien's red base color before embarking on the whitening process to create the translucent effect. This was a gradual undertaking, requiring patience and layering to sculpt the desired ethereal quality. I started by using the symmetry pen to create skeletal-like lines across the body, building the internal structure.

Initially, I considered an orange background, but ultimately decided on black to best accentuate the fiery red of Xylar Blaze's aura, allowing the intensity of the emotion to take center stage. The final touch was adding the pulsating flames, bringing the piece to its dramatic completion.
