It’s amazing that rosemary survives the winter in the UK. But apparently this plant is really very resilient! To be honest, I’m surprised. Yes, it’s an excellent seasoning for meat. In my opinion, it goes especially well with beef or lamb. After my attempt to burn a green sprig on the barbecue coals, my wife simply walked away because of the smell 🤷🏼‍♂️ So, people have different tastes... 👌🏻

It's good just as a scent too - sprinkling some on a candle works well... although it sounds like your wife would disagree!

It also goes well with chicken and pork... it's probably good with any meat really!

Our rosemary bush has been in our garden since we bought the house 7 years ago. I probably couldn't kill it if I tried!

Pork? That’s a great idea. I’ll definitely give it a try. Although my landlord is a religious Jew, and if he smells pork, he’ll burn me on the same barbecue. Just kidding about the burning ))

Thank you for the comment!

he’ll burn me on the same barbecue

... and add a sprinkling of Rosemary to make you a little more tasty!
