RE: Магазини секонд-хенду в Англії.
Woodley's just a town 🙂 And surprisingly, its larger sibling (Reading) is also just a town!
When I was growing up, that charity shop was a toy shop called Beatties. I remember sitting on the floor (it was carpet back then - dark blue I think) and looking longingly at the back of Micro Machine boxes hoping that one day, I would own the fold out city.
I never owned it.
There used to be a bandstand in the middle (outside the charity shop). I think they've modernised it now. Sometimes, there's somebody selling Lego sets there these days.
In this image, the barbers shop (next to HSBC) used to be the sweet shop where I'd get my Midget Gems. The barbers shop also did a terrible job at cutting my hair more recently - and given that there's not a lot of hair left to cut, that was quite a feat! Even my mum laughed when I got home!
My mum went to find the item you left this morning but didn't see it. She said that there were 2 cars on the drive so she didn't want to walk up and look for it. Or maybe somebody found it and took it inside.
You'd better make sure that you have a large baggage allowance when you fly home!
Most likely, they noticed me in the house, came out and found my thing. Most likely, they threw it away:)) And if people don't know their neighbors, it's better not to ask about such a small thing.
Thanks for taking care of the luggage, but we arrived by car and will return by car as well. The road is long and it is better for us than by plane.
No way! The UK has a soft spot for Ukraine so if somebody did find it, I suspect it'll be hung up in their house.
Or it's still outside - my mum's not best known for her observation skills!
Goodness! How many hours travelling is that?
I know that the whole world, including England, is divided into 2 parts - those who support Ukraine, which is bleeding, and those who want its end under the foot of russia. So I will calmly accept the fact that my sign could be thrown away...
And on my next visit I will wear even more of these)))
3485км! We traveled for 6 days and 5 nights.
Although my husband's daughter drives cars for the front as a volunteer. They cover this route in a day - it's an incredible feat!
Woodley is fairly well educated... I think that you sign will be somewhere safe 🙂
That's quite a long journey. I hope that you remember to pack some snacks 😉
please don't down vote my post
Thanks for your concern,friend!
Now you can not take snacks with you - every gas station has taken care of this, and hotels too. But we always have food with us in the form of cookies and dried meat, which we prepare ourselves on the road. I also buy hard vegetables - carrots, beets.. I cut them into pieces and such hard food does not allow you to fall asleep while driving. And meat gives satiety until a long rest and dinner. And, of course, bring water with you too. That's how we travel :))
