RE: Paranormales Vermächtnis?
A widely known omen? Wow!
Is it also widespread or does the "ability" to receive these omens only affect certain families?
Oooh, I wouldn't want to be able to predict that a deceased person would take someone with him/her!
It is hard to imagine what your people had to go through during and after the Second World War.
I think that or the atrocities of a war (even on "sideshows") can only be imagined if you have experienced them directly. A film doesn't help at all, at best it makes you dull.
Oh, I feel a bit sick when I realize with whom in which situation I am communicating here. I wish you from the bottom of my heart, no, I pray that it will never come to that with you!
in the entire history of Germany, nothing worse than liberation by the Red Army has happened to it
Oh yes, there were worse things: the Nazi regime with its killing machinery per se.
Hm, I would not like to "confirm" the point you mentioned, however, it is true that in particularly hard personal war histories the Red Army appears again and again. From the other Allies ("liberators") I have heard only of individual fates.
Of course, this may be due to the fact that I have only spoken with one-sided eyewitnesses or read the "wrong" books. Or, it was actually the case that the Soviet army acted more cruelly. If so, why? Maybe they were so incredibly angry at the Germans, because the Nazi soldiers also committed terrible atrocities (not only) in Poland and Russia (also among the civilian population). In France, there are still people who refuse to speak German with tourists because they still have so much hatred for "the Germans" in them after more than 80 years. This is passed down through the generations, even though none of us were involved at the time.
But maybe it's also because of who commands such an army. Stalin was just as much an anti-human dictator as Hitler.
Maybe I didn't express myself properly. We believe that if a deceased relative comes to you in a dream, it means that you will receive news about the death of a close or familiar person. This sign is especially strong if a relative who died a long time ago came to you in a dream. It is quite possible that this is all delusional. But such a coincidence also happened in my family, so I believe in it.
Perhaps so. But I listened to the program of the Russian journalist Nevzorov, who quoted the memoirs of the Russian military. He convinced that the Russian army behaved this way in the First World War and in the Second World War. I can neither confirm nor deny this as I was not a witness. Journalist Nevzorov is now forced to live in Italy, and has also received Ukrainian citizenship. He may have subjective views.
I think that many things happen during the war that you don't want to remember later, on both sides. But somewhere there are only a few such stories, and somewhere it is a mass phenomenon. I only know for sure that your people have lived through terrible times and I would not wish that on anyone. For Ukrainians, the Second World War was also a disaster, and this disaster did not end in 1945, but continued for a long time. But this is a completely different story.
P.S. Your posts always spark a discussion, not my fault.
Ah, okay. So it is indeed a (super)belief anchored in your culture. Interesting, thanks for the info.
Yes, you're right, I also read about the Russian army being noticed in WWI as well.
Maybe it is just my personal feeling: I don't like sweeping statements like "the Russian", "the German", "the Ukrainian" so much, try to avoid them, because well, every people (and army) consists of individuals.
Shame on me... 😂
But you are definitely a bit guilty, too, because you get involved every time and... I love it... 😉
