RE: Viel hilft viel - Zwiebeltarte / The more, the better – onion tart
I know using plenty of browned onion would make anything tasty. I can almost smell it from my screen. LOL. I'm going to bookmark this. Is it okay to freeze the leftover?
Theoretically, you can freeze them, but glazed onions become slightly bitter as a result. However, this should not be necessary: there will be nothing left ;-)))
LOL. I would make them in batch. Maybe I can try not to eat everything in one go. I'm preparing my shopping list now. Not sure if I can find goat cheese, do you have any suggestion for other type of cheese?

Goat cheese does indeed have a very distinctive, sour taste. It cannot be compared to sheep's cheese or cheese made from cow's milk. Biochemically, there is a certain reaction between enzymes from the goat cheese and the glucose from the sugar in the tart. Hmm. I can't think of anything else that would work just as well...
